کاغذ در دستگاه باید دارای شرایط واستاندارد مناسبی باشد،کاغذ باید سفید باشد و چروک نداشته باشد.کاهی نباشد دارای کمترین تار و پود باشد. 80 گرمی باشد یعنی یک متر ان 80گرم وزن داشته باشد. لبه های کاغذ خوب برش داده باشد وناصاف نباشد.از سایزهای استاندارد استفاده نمائیم و از برش های دلخواه استفاده نکنیم.دقت کنید کاغذی که در دستگاه قرار می دهید رطوبت نداشته باشد.کاغذ را فقط برای استفاده از بسته بیرون بیاورید زیرا ممکن است چروک ویا مرطوب شود و در دستگاه گیر کند.
افرادی که بادستگاه کپی کار کردن حتما با مشکل گیر کردن کاغذ در دستگاه مواجه شدند، درحین کپی کاغذ داخل دستگاه گیر می کند و به صورت تا خورده یا مچاله شده بیرون می آید در بعضی موارد با کمی تخصص و آشنایی با دستگاه می توان این مشکل را حل نمود.

بنابراین بیش از هرکاری در تهیه نوع کاغذ دقت کنید و جنس خوبی را برای دستگاه انتخاب کنید. اگر کاغذ به تعداد زیادی در دستگاه گیر کرد باید برای تعمیر دستگاه از یک متخصص کمک بگیرید.
